Sent to General Experts December 11, 2006 11:03 p.m.

I am trying to find out the manufacturer or supplier of pillows that I saw at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach Florida. I have chronic neck pain and slept on the bolster that was on the bed. Best night's rest I've had in years. How do I find this pillow???

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy). I'm working on it for you, but could use some additional information. Did you stay in one of the standard guestrooms, a suite, or the Flagler Club area? The pillows and bedding may be of different quality depending on the room type.

Hi. I think I found the answer for you. There is a company called the Hotel Down Shop that lists The Breakers Palm Beach as one of their customers. The company will help you find which product it was you slept on, and then sell that same product to you for home use. The website can be found here: http://www.hoteldownshop.com/index.php

In the top, far right corner you will find the section that says, "what did I sleep on?" This will help you find the pillows.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

April,

Thanks but this has not solved the search...I did stay in an upgraded guest room, approximately 400 square feet with two full size beds.

Hope that helps,

Wendi

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy). I spoke directly with the purchasing manager and the housekeeping manager at The Breakers Palm Beach. Neither of them could tell me exactly what it was you slept on! According to the purchasing manager, because of the rennovations all new linens and pillows were purchased, but at different times from different wholesale suppliers. They really have no way of knowing which ones you ended up with while you were there. However, she did say that if it was an upgraded guest room, it should have been a down pillow. Down pillows are pretty easy to find at places like Dilliards, Macy's, and other higher end department stores. They can also be purchased online, including from the website I gave you previously. However, because down pillows come in a wide variety of sizes and fills, it may serve you best to purchase one in the store where you can compare them. I know this a bit of a non-answer, but if the purchasing and housekeeping managers don't know what they were, I don't hold out much hope of finding the information anywhere else. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

April,

Would you be so kind as to call again? I was in room 1163. I am interested specifically in the bolster pillow that lays on the bed and has an embroidered B on the front of it.

I apologize since had I known you were going to call these people, I would have been more specific. If you are not willing to call, would you be able to give me the information as to how I can call???

Thank you so much, Wendi

Well, I do certainly appreciate all of your hard work. I am disappointed since my neck was never happier...

Perhaps I will have to go back there and check it out sometime...

THANK YOU APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
