Choose a business situation that involves current challenges that businesses face in the age of terrorism. Use the University of Phoenix library, and/or other sources to complete a 700 +/-50 word synopsis that utilizes statistics to help solve this business related problem. The synopsis will include a discussion of the specific problem, the research methodology used, the quantitative and qualitative tools employed in the study, and the benefit and limitations of the research study. Address what additional types of quantitative research you would recommend to further enhance the validity and reliability of the research findings. Define validity and reliability in your paper in terms of how this relates to surveys and sampling.Use data and statistics to make your points and avoid emotionally based arguments to solve the business situation (this goes against conventional thinking by most government bureaucratsJ). Search on “double blind studies” on the internet or elsewhere to see how bias can be virtually eliminated using this technique. Note that each learning team will review these papers and then choose which business problem to use for the team projects.
