In business the ability to communicate well with others and network ideas is what makes all innovation happen. There has never been an idea that could not be improved upon by input from another source. The idea of forming a good team is valuable in that you need to find several individuals who each have contributions to make in several areas that benefit that whole more than just one would. There is so much to learn about any given subject that people must specialize, no one knows everything about EVERYTHING. The point is to put together these specialists who each have a piece of the solutions you need and who can work well together to get a more complete and workable answer.

Building a team is much more than just putting together a few people and assigning a task. Knowledge and experience in building a team is crucial because if this know how lacks there might be some problems with the functionality of the team as follows:

1- Failure to select the right members for the team: team shows low performance,
2- Low coordination within the team: team members work without knowing much about who is doing what and overall performance is affected.
3- Failure to choose the right team leader: team leader cannot coordinate the team, tasks are distributed inefficiently.
4- Failure to motivate the team: team members show low performance
5- Failure to establish a clear and effective communication among team members: low effiviency of the team work and lack of collaboration
6- Failure to reward the team and/or individual work: team members lose interest and motivation
7- Failure to maintain written communication and feedback system: team achievments and progress is lost in verbal communication
