automobille question

I purchased a 2003 blazer new, in 2005 i had a alternador put on the car at the dealer,
and a new battery. This past august my air went out , I paid them 1600.00 , I have taken it back once because the car was making a noise. They fixed it, I took it back last
saturday and was told that they put the wrong alternator on y car. Could the wrong alternator caused my air to go out?
