Hi Marsha,
I'd love to help you.
Sometimes a manufacturer of an item will stamp the in-house artists name, the artist who designed the piece, on the bottom of the pieces they intend to distribute. Or the manufacturer will give a particular collection a name, i.e Anthony figurines, for marketing purposes. Being a stamped signature I would tend to say either option could be the case.Because I have not been able to locate a particular manufacturer or business by the name of Anthony, USA or Anthony alone in any searches nor in my field, have I heard of the manufacturer, I am going to say that the figurine more than likely was produced for marketing purposes.
This does not negate the piece as having no credible value . What I did fine were two very different listings for Anthony Cats being sold. The first is a pair of ceramic figurines which I am providing you the link to solely for identification purposes as the seller is not sure of the value of the piece themselves.
eBay Express: Vintage Large Pair White Cats Ceramic Anthony USA Cat
The second are two separate cats that appear to be bronze with a nice price attached to the pair. The seller is an antique dealer. The dealer has contact information as well as a link for buying. My advice to you would be to contact the second seller, the antique dealer, take a digital photo of the piece, if possible, and ask for the opinion of the dealer below.
