How do I register a complaint about the service at s hotel

Have received appalling service from a hotel - would like to take it further as the General manager was condescending and rude and the room had already been paid for. Is there a watchdog for hotel that I can register this with?Am in London

You can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau here (just click on Business under File a Complaint at the top):

http://www.bbb.org/

The hotel will be notified and it will also go on their record so if anyone every checks their record with the BBB, they will see there was a complaint.

This only covers us and Canada - is there a uk equivalent?

Hi again!

Click on "Business" under "File a Complaint", click "Next", select "another country" instead of U.S. or Canada, finish filling out this part, click "Next", select "United Kingdom" from drop down menu, click "Submit", select "United Kingdom" from drop down menu, click "Next", and then enter the information. The BBB shares information with Webtrader UK and Trust UK.
