You can order a Dun and Bradstreet Report for Flying Tigers Restaurant. However, you will have to get a full report to derive the name of creditors and insureres. There is also no guarantee that all the information will be there, as small businesses frequently change insurance carriers based on cost, etc.

D&B is like a credit reporting agency that contains all the information on the companies listed there, even if they are out of business.

However, also like a credit reporting agency, they only list reported information. So, while D&B has insurance company on some companies, it may not have it for yours.

The only other way you can find out, is to contact an insurance company who provided liability insurances for businesses from the yellow pages. They have data basis and might be able to help you.

There is no publically availabel site that is 100% guaranteed to return the information you are seeking. All require membership, such as Lexus Nexus or to purchase a D&B report.

Let them you know you need to purchase a credit report or background report for the restaurant, and that you can only purhase and use the report if it will contain the insurance information.

It should contain the information of the current or last known carrier. Also, the current carrier insurance company can tell you who previously insured the company, as it is part of the documentation.
