In the state of South Carolina, what is the timeframe a motorcycle dealership has to provide you with a title for a motorcycle purchased in cash. I purchased it 12/31/05 by law, can I return the motorcycle and receive my money back since no title has been supplied to me since purchase date of 51 days and counting.

they are waiting for the prior owner of the motorcycle to come into the dealership and sign a form. so they can process the title and put it in my name. SO my questions is: are they legaly obligated to return my money becasue they were unable to provide a title after 45 days?
