decorative light switch business

I would like to start a business makeing decorative
switchplates but I cannot find a supplier or franchise
that deals with this type of item. I know there must be
one somewhere. I see other people making and selling
them. Can anyone help me with this question?

Because I saw the term 'light switch' in your question title -- I mistakenly assumed that you didn't use the term 'switch plate' in your search.  However, because you do use the word in your question, I was probably an error.  My apologies.

I want to be able to make them as a business. I went to Google
but without success.   What you refer to here are people in
business for themselves. There is a process of putting famous
art onto light switch covers. That is what I would like to do.

Rejected Oreport's Post. Reason Given: it is what I got from Google as well . These are people who are in business for themselves. I am referring to the process of making decorative light switch covers as a business. ie: putting famous art on light switches. I would like to be able to do that myself. not purchase them.

Why not market on your own, via your own web site?

OR, are you looking for method of using "trademarked" "copyrighted" material on your switch plates, rather than (your) original art?

Perhaps it's just because it's Monday... but I'm confused...

You are absolutely right -- the Google search results I listed are for businesses.  Here's why:
Because you used the term 'supplier' -- I mistakenly interpreted that to mean that you were looking for companies (wholesalers and/or retailers) to whom you can sell your decorative light switches.

Just make sure, it sounds like what you are looking for is a particular method/technique/product which provides you with the training/capacity/equipment to be able to create/produce decorative switch plate covers featuring fine art.

Is this correct?  If so, can you provide any specific information such as the name of this process/technique or where you saw it and how long ago?  Also, do you know if it is a franchise?
