I was just given a home by my grandmother and i need to get it appraised before i fix it up because i was told the value would increase greatly and so would the property taxes but i would like to start fixing it so i can rent it out. So i was wondering about how they appraise it,do the come inside, do they look at the things that were recently fixed and how long does their appraisal last?
