Customer Question

I have a business credit account with a merchant. Starting few months ago, someone/people have been using my account to get discount. They paid with cash. I told the merchant not to let anyone else except people on the list to use our account... it's been going on past few months.
And a week ago, someone/some people used my account again- this time around, this person charged to our merchant account... Can I sue the merchant? What should I do to stop letting the merchant let anyone use my account?

I am sorry to hear that. Yes, you can sue the merchant for letting non-authorized individuals use your account. You can also sue those individuals who used it without your permission. Beyond that you can implement more security measures i.e. a password ***** something that only certain authorized users may have.

Do I contact the authority first?

Yes, they are reaping unauthorized benefits from your account. Yes contacting the police and/or FBI is also a good idea.
