I am a selfemployee. Just finished audit on workers comp insurance

Customer Question

I am a selfemployee. Just finished audit on workers comp insurance from Rochdale. I received penalty of $1667 due to have list member of officer who didn't sign up on rejection. We had 2 officer who signed on waiver form initially. And later on add another officer on annual audit paper. The rochdale count that officer as full time worker and charged a penalty for $1667. I have called and try to adjust the situation however they don't want to adjust the situation now. What shall I do? I really don't make any money on my business and kept this insurance for one employee to order keep them under law.
They blame on me for not give a call on my agent for update. It has been 2 years like this and they just find this out. Is there any way to cancel this policy without penalty?
