Dear Customer,In general, home kitchens cannot be used for commercial purposes in Missouri (see: http://health.mo.gov/safety/foodsafety/faq.php).However, you will want to contact the Kansas City Health Department directly regarding your anticipated or proposed use to see if your business plan will fall into one of the exceptions for your municipality, you can find their contact information here: http://kcmo.gov/health/environmental-health-services/environmental-public-health-program/food-protection/ (unfortunately, due to the extraordinarily limited use of home kitchens for commercial purposes, there is not a great deal of guidance - the first link I provided you will give you a general idea - but you are going to want to contact the department directly).
