I'm a employee in a small company, and I'm in charge of all the accounts related matters including preparation of company accounts, contact with auditors, tax computation & reporting, etc. By the way, my job title is Analyst, but since I have some accounting background, I'm also doing accounts related stuff. Last year during audit, I was instructed by my director to issue invoices to company B (our company has actually received fund from Company B), so I did. The weird thing is that the director also instructed me to issue invoice on behalf of Company B to our company, based on the transaction the we do send money from company B as well, she promised me that the invoice I issued will be authorised by officers from Company B, so I just helped to issue a invoice based on the template she gave me and she really got it signed by officer from the other company. Another weird thing is that our company do not have any service contract with company B. Right now Im really worried if I'm involved in a fraud? Will I responsible for accounts misstatement? I was hired as an analyst, though I do have some knowledge on accounting, but I don't think that I'm really capable of working as an accountant. What if my tax computation is wrong, will I get charged? I read the company act, and it states that the "director or management" and "those charged with governance " are responsible for company's accounts, so does it mean I do not responsible if there is any error in the accounts?

Thank you very much for your reply!
Just need to clarify 3 points with you:
1. When I issued those invoices, I wasn't know if there was any fraud, so I would not be liable for the accounts misstament, am i right?
2. in my situation, since I'm preparing company's financial statement, am I considered as "management" or "those charged with governance" in company act? The company's structure is very simple(two layers): director on the top and we (rest of the employees) are below.
3. If the tax computation is incorrect because my knowledge is not enough, will I be charged by tax comptroller?
Thanks again for your time and attention.
