At this time Virginia does not have a right of rescission for solicitation or telephone contracts. The only right of rescission that I found was a right to cancel real estate home purchases, which is listed in § 6.2-2503. Unless the contract that you signed has a clause or a condition permitting early termination, the contract is binding and final as signed. You may want to perhaps review the language or have an attorney evaluate the terms just to be sure, but at least as far as it currently stands, there is no law in VA requiring the other party to agree to a cancellation if such terms are not listed in the agreement.I am sorry.
