I have opened a Medical marijuana Collective and don't know if,as a no profit corporation,with no employees,do I have to pay state tax on my patients donations?

Thank you for your question. Please permit me to assist you with your concerns.

To answer directly, you do indeed pay state tax on the revenue that is generated by your non-profit. Even a non-profit has to pay taxes, and based on my evaluation of the law that permitted such collectives to take place, nowhere in the law does it state that the collectives are considered to be tax exempt. This collective is therefore treated as any other non-profit and with the same type of tax structure.
