Hi we are a casket company - new business we are just starting. We had our first delivery of caskets today. The shipper improperly packaged these, he did not blanket wrap them and stood them on end instead of lying them flat. Five of the six are damaged. We need to know how to file with the shippers insurance. What do we claim as the damaged amount? Would this be what the product cost us or the value of the item? What we could have sold the casket for. Thank you

Attorney Arcadier : You file a claim by sending a demand letter to the deliveror and they will submit it to their insurance. Your damages are the actual cost of the damage. Not potential profits, etc.
