Hello,on 7/9 I took my minivan to a transmission shop, paid $2900 for transmission and catalitics converters repaired, gave me the van back on 7/17, on 7/18 I took it back as the transmission would not work properly and was dangerous to drive, they said to get a rental and would reinburse me, everytime I called to check they had an excuse of some sort (and an attitude)....., on 8/4 i disputed the charge with amex, on 8/7 they told me that they would send the car to their other shop 20 miles away so the same day i returned the rental ($764) and bought a new minivan, today 8/20 they contacted me for the first time since 8/7.My questions is: IF they call me and tell me that the car is ready....can I just tell them to keep the minivan, I do not trust their work ethics and work performance, went through online feedback from previous customers and is all negative, their warranty is a scam, please help me get out of this?
