I need language on a my receipt/contract to get me residual income on sales of a logo I re-designed for a client that wants to create a nonprofit.org to advocate an environmental concern. It is a public message to go on bumper sticker, decals, and other possible placements on mugs etc. I charged him $500 up front for dozens of color samples, and lettering options in photoshop and making changes all included until the design is accepted. Now i have to either get a final balance which was not discussed or get residual income from future sales if his campaign actually is successful. So i need some specific language to write on my sales receipt or contract or all in one receipt.....to either ensure a final payment, or NO payment, or some final payment including royalties from future sales or what ever language is appropriate.
State/Country relating to question: Florida
I am starting to go ONLINE to look for prewritten contracts but not finding one specifically for logo design done for an individual that does not yet have a non profit.org but that is his intention.
