This answer was rated:

During the TRO hearings process, the Plaintiff's attorney's handed us filings at the very last minute, more than once.

We are now preparing for the preliminary injunction hearing. We have dates set for our opposition filing and the Plaintiffs have a date set for their response to our opposition set.

My question, can the Plaintiff's file any other documents after they file their response? If yes, how can I be sure we have enough time to read and prepare an appropriate response?
You have to object to them trying to file anything after the deadline for their response, this is up to the discretion of the court who is the gatekeeper of any evidence. You would object to the late filing based on it being discriminatory and prejudicial in that you had no notice or opportunity to review it and you would state that it amounts to "trial by ambush" which is disfavored by the rules of discovery.
