Is there any way to stop a physician competitor who tries to

Customer Question

Is there any way to stop a physician competitor who tries to drive out competition by abusing his positions on protected committees such as credentials committees and medical boards. Can such a person be sued for frivolous and harassing activities. Can a pattern of behavior overcome the protection from civil liability usually afforded such positions?

Thank you for the post, I am happy to assist you by answering your questions. Yes, if you can show that the physician is advancing baseless or frivolous arguments to deny your credentials, you can pursue the physician for harassment and/or tortious interference with business opportunity. Please let me know if you need additional guidance.
