Resolved Question:

Can a non us citizen from New Zealand own 51% of an LLC while his American business partner owns 49%? I guess what I'm asking is can a non US citizen with only visiting rights be the majority owner of a business?

Attorney Arcadier : Yes, absolutely. Foreigners can even own 100% of a u.s. business. If you are the incorporator, then you will need a tax id number which can be gotten from irs.
