Is it lawful for a cooperative housing corporation to require that shareholders do not contact vendors that the corporation deals with without permission of the Board of Directors of that corporation or without permission of the Chairs of committees on which shareholders might serve?
Hello. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be happy to answer your question.

Yes it is lawful, as if the shareholders do contact the vendors of the Co-op the Co-op can claim that the shareholders violated the co-op rules and also might have a claim for tortious interference with a business, if the direct contact is detreimental to the interests of the co-op.
