I'm filling out form BCS/CD-2500 for the State of Michigan (Profit Corp. annual report). Item #4 asks to "Describe the general nature and kind of business in which the corporation is engaged". Can I give a general description such as: "To engage in any activity within the purposes for which corporations may be formed under the Business corporation Act of Michigan"?
No. You need to try to put down a specific type of business like construction, internet sales, car dealer, etc. While it can be general it needs to be more specific than "anything".
