How do you remove someone from an LLC We have a property development

Resolved Question:

How do you remove someone from an LLC? We have a property development that we split one parcel into two. This phase we want to split the two into eight and are told by the county that it is continuouse ownership even though the two parcels are in two different LLC's names. The owners are the same for both LLC's and I'm thinking I can remove an owner and then it is not a continuouse ownership?

If you remove someone from the LLC, the continuous ownership does not end because the LLC as an entity still continues.

Can we Quit Claim one parcel out of one of the LLC's into someone elses name? Someone not on the LLC?

That, absolutely. It will destroy the "continuous" requirement.
