Can a company collect a debt where there was never a signed instrument where purchaser agreed to terms?

If you signed the application agreement, you would be bound by its terms. You could only cancel per the terms contained therein. If there was a fraud involved, you can use that to sue to rescind. Otherwise you are bound by the terms.
