Can a publicly owned corporation cancel a small businesses vender number for no reason?

Have been doing business with a publicly owned corporation for about 15 years with no problems.Now for some reason that I can not explain, it looks like they are tring to find a reason to take my vendor number so I can not do business with that corportion. I am a small family owned business. Can they do this with no justification?
