Is there a way to get around paying 200.00 dollars to terminate my cell phone contract before it expires? I would like to switch companies, but dont want to pay 200.00 dollars to do so.

Unfortunately, no. If your contract calls for this fee, you'll have to pay it UNLESS the carrier agrees to waive it - which never happens!
