Customer Question

I am leaving an LLC. I am not taking anything with me but do not want to be responsible for any debts of the company. My partner has no disagreements to this. How do I write my resignation to reflect my intentions and does it have to be notorized?

What State is the LLC located in? Did you sign personally on any loans, leases, purchase agreements or anything else? What type of business is it?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
We are in Louisiana. I signed on behalf of the company on a lease for an embossing machine   and one credit card. My partner signed a bank line of credit, on the building lease and one credit card. We are a scrapbooking store.
