How to take power steering wheel off?
Expert:  Ron Z. replied 3 months ago.

No need to take the power steering pulley off. Rotate the pulley until the hole in the pulley face lines up with the rear water pump bolts. Then use a small extension on your socket and access the bolt through the pulley.

Motor mount bolt is behind wheel cannot remove without taking off the wheel

To remove and replace the power steering pump pulley will require a special tool set:

  • J 25034-B Pulley Remover
  • J 25033-B Installer

You can usually rent this tool set from most local big-chain parts stores. Here is a look at the tool while installed to remove the pulley: https://goo.gl/u7t7w6

The better option in this case, would to be to unmount the power steering pump and just set it aside. No need to remove the fluid lines or anything. Unbolt it and you'll have a little swing room to move it around and gain the access you'll need.

Hi! I noticed this Q&A was still open, so I wanted to check in and see how you made out? Did you get the water pump replaced? Any other questions you had? Was there something you wanted addressed that I may have missed in my answer? Did you find my answer helpful?
