Customer Question

Do buicks have a computer chip in the ignition and key. the reson for asking is they our saying we can not do nothing with the ignition because the problem is in the chip the ignition has been broken the parts left is the tumbler and a black piece with wires it fits over and the key isnt a car key it only goes in ignition about an eighth of an inch. Other than holding key and ignition together it starts right up.
