I am trying to locate the blower motor and the relay to determine what needs to be replaced. The fan does not work, but it does occasionally
JA: How many miles are on the car? How old is the battery?
Customer: 110k miles battery is a year old.
JA: What is the model/year of your Buick?
Customer: 96 roadmaster wagon
JA: Are you fixing your Roadmaster yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes I would like to. I am looking for the relays that control the heater fan motor and the motor itself.

The blower motor and the low and hi speed relays are under the dash on the passenger side of the car. Here is a diagram for all three of there locations.

The blower motor is right there under the dash, you may have a black plastic cover that covers the under side of the dash that you have to remove . The relays you have to pull the glove compartment out to get to the.

If the fan does not work on all speeds, check the blower motor resister as well. It is mounted on the drivers side of the hvac box next to the blower motor.
