I had the crankshaft sensor replaced on my 2006 buick

Customer Question

I had the crankshaft sensor replaced on my 2006 buick lacrosse last week. My car would completely stall when driving and the engine failure light would come on. After a minute or two the car would restart. Now this week it has stalled twice and service traction system light comes on. Again after a minute the car rrstarts.
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: Yes it stalls at low speeds, mostly in town driving. Usually no sputtering , it just stalls
JA: Are you fixing your LaCrosse yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No, I have a autobody mechanic fix it. I am a 74 year old female so I don't know mu h about cars. I do have a son that could do minor repairs but we don 't have any idea ehere to start
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so
