I have a 06 lacrosse 3.8L i have no trouble codes. car runs

Customer Question

hello,
i have a 06 lacrosse 3.8L i have no trouble codes. car runs fine while driving around town in city traffic no issues, but out on the highway different story. as long as you don't accelerate fast and go faster than 70-73 mph all is good as soon as you press on the gas to kick into passing gear the car starts to slow down and the rpms drop down to about 2k i have checked fuel pressure while this happens and its steady at 60psi i don't get reduced engine power or anything.

WELL THAT DIDNT WORK AT ALL I JUST GOT BACK NOT SURE HOW I MADE IT HOME IT RAN HORRIBLE. I THINK IM GONNA HAVE THE DEALER PICK IT UP IN THE MORNING.

Next thing I'd suggest is removing one of front oxygen sensors completely from exhaust to see if it runs better, if so this would indicate a clogged catallytic converter. Let me know how it goes, thanks.
