O.k.,being a 2016 my info is very limited and unfortunately I do not have the info you need on this here but someone else here may be able to help further with this.
I will open your question up for others here to see if someone else can assist further on this as there may be others here that may have more info on what to check or do with this issue.I hope you can get this resolved with ease.No need to reply to my last post here unless it is a last resort as it will keep your question locked to me and others will not be able to view it.If you feel you want to continue to work with me on this feel free to reply at any time but keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair this without seeing your vehicle.
If this issue occurs with any doors being opened this can be due to a fault with the body control module itself.This module controls the power signals to the interior lights when the doors are opened.I have seen this control module fail in the past before requiring replacement to correct this issue here.The signals will have to be tested/checked with a scan tool and a multi meter to make sure this is the cause here before having it replaced.I do not see this as a ground issue here as the lights in the interior all have separate grounds and if all lights are not coming on from any door being opened usually it is the BCM that needs replaced.
This would have to be replaced with a new one and programmed to your vehicle as a used one is locked to a different model and cannot be reprogrammed to your model.The cost for replacement in some cases can run over $500.I would have this tested further though to be sure this is the cause here.
