Hello, my name is***** for the question. Can you tell me if the check engine light is coming on?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
ran a bit better but started "bucking" - felt like the transmission or clutch was slipping....acceleration was ok then all of a sudden it would "catch" or slip, then go back to "normal". still running a bit rough but better after the tune up. Took it in to have it diagnosed and its not throwing ANY codes..
no check engine light.....mechanic checked the sensors they THOUGHT it could be. called me yesterday and told me they were "over" my car.
they couldn't find anything
I did a little research on my own - first thought it might be the MAP sensor
suggested the sensors in the transmission, and also MAYBE the little "plastic" cage
they told me they'd had a factory guy check out the transmission and it was ok.
I can only assume they checked the obvious belts, etc.....
They then told me to just drive it till it breaks and then they could fix it. I've seen some things online in my research....bad wires, broken plugs, and sockets,
tested the wires....they are all firing.
I'm stumped!!!
and so are my mechanics.
Just wondering if a DEALER would have better luck....
it's intermittant - can't make it buck, except in 2nd gear.....
seems there are a LOT of possibilities and I frankly don't know where else to
without incurring a LOT of labor costs checking wire bundles, etc....
the car is a 2005 and WAS getting about 30-32 MPG till it started running rough
and then sucking gas.
Thats when I decided to change wires, plugs, etc.....
used good stuff. Bosch plug, etc....
made for my car. I don't want to spend a LOT more on this car - but I'm now just
determined to figure it out!!! LOL.

Thank you. Yes, I have a few more questions. Does this only occur in second? Does it feel any different when it is cold or hot?
