ok, check all your fuses with a test light to verify power on both sides with the key in the on position.

How many volts should they have
Expert:  Roy Belding replied 1 year ago.

12 but you are using a test light for this, it is easier. I attached a wire diagram for you to view. it gives you the fuse number under the hood that needs to be checked.

did you check the fuse for power???

Roy

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
we have 12v there
Expert:  Roy Belding replied 1 year ago.

ok, now you need to test for voltage to the pump. you will need someone to help you. under the car drivers side, there is a wire connector coming out of the body. it is between the driver and rear door. there is a gray wire in that connector. see if that wire is hot with 12 volts, use your voltmeter, while cranking

Roy

We have 12volts to the pump now. How do we check the ground on the pump? Which wire is it?
Expert:  Roy Belding replied 1 year ago.

it is a black wire in the connector. there should be 2 blacks. usw an ohmeter from the connector to a body ground and measure the ohm readings

Roy

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
What should the ohms be and what about the wires. We have a purple, black, gray, black w/ gray
Expert:  Roy Belding replied 1 year ago.

solid black. the reading should read 0 ohms
