Buick Skylark Custom: Hey just replaced intake gaskets and

Hey just replaced intake gaskets and a oil pressure switch on a skylark 3100 now I have a low rough idle with a tick.
Along with the intake valve on cylinder 1 and the exhaust valve on cylinder 3 operating ant the exact same time. Is that normal.

it sounds like the lifters have not pumped up for whatever the reason of either being worn out or dirt.
it happens a lot when performing this operation. I always recommend replacing the lifters with this operation so there is no issues.

Ok it does pump oil can that still be the case

I am sure you have pressure or the red light would be on.
yes, you have at least one bad lifter now. thats why I like to replace them to make a good job when it is done
