The rear taillights on my 2000 Buick regal are not working. The 15a fuses have blown, and we're replaced by 20a fuses, which worked for a bit. Now there are no blown fuses. It turned out there was a wiring cluster coming from the rear taillights in the trunk that was the problem. The wiring cluster was repaired, but then the problem came back. When the taillights have gone out before, the automatic headlights don't engage, but can be turned on manually, still with no taillights. Also when this problem happens the dashboard lights do not come on. How do I fix this problem?

Does the 10 amp park lamp fuse have power with the parking light switch turned on?
I don't think so
Can you check for me??Leave the fuse plugged in and check for voltage on the back side of the fuse using the small two metal prongs.
The fuse has power
Is it labeled "front park lamps"? and it is located in the fuse block?
Yes
Ok.. does the 15 amp "tail lamps" lic lamps" fuse have power with the parking light switch turned on?
All the fuses in the inside fuse panel have power
Ok.. then you just have an open or a break in the wire from this 15 amp tail lamp fuse, LIC fuse to the parking lights causing your problem.
