myXXXXXwill start and then quit just on cool mornings. start, i will put in gear and it will gradually start running normal. power windows and door locks don't work while this is going on and they will stall the engine if you try them. it has a new battery and new fuel pump.

Hello and welcome.

Try lifting the drivers side carpet. Open the door, find the trim that goes by the emergency brake pedal, and pull the carpet out from under there. On the floor there is a ground or ground block. If there is any water on the floor or corrosion on this ground, it can give the problems you are having. This ground is for the fuel pump and i believe the power locks and windows relay. There is also a relay for the locks in that general area. If the ground were wet or corroded, this would cause your problems.
