My 2003 regal started stalling while driving. All the dash and indicator lights light up and then it restarts itself. Or sometimes I can put it in neutral and restart it. What could be causing this? This began yesterday so I haven't had an incident of it not starting or having to wait to restart it. Also stalled when backing out of parking space.Sincerely,Connie

Hi and welcome to Just Answer.I will try and assist you today with your question. Please don't click on accept unless you feel satisfied with my assistance here.
One common component I have seen act up like this here on this model is the electronic ignition switch itself, this switch powers several components on several circuits and can act up intermittently and cause a voltage loss causing this here.
This would need tested with a multi meter on the switch circuits to see if it is at fault here.
Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight as well as this can cause this.
I have actually also seen the turn signal/multi function switch fail on these vehicles and cause electrical interference which can cause this but usually this is most noticed when you turn on the turn signals the engine would stall out.
From what is described this sounds like a possible electronis ignition switch at fault or possibly loose or corroded battery cables,to be sure though the switch would need tested when the vehicle is acting up.
