My car brakes to feel like theyre slipping when I press on the brakes

Resolved Question:

What can cause my car brakes to feel like they're slipping when I press on the brakes?

So the ABS is activating at slow speeds and that is what you are calling a brake slipping?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
I assume so. Whenever I press on my brakes it doesn't stop right away feels like it's slipping or not quite catching and it scares me especially in the winter with snow out. The light comes on, but goes off at times too, if that helps. I just need help because I've taken it to a mechanic and they fixed everytning but that, and that was the reason I took it in in the first place.

So the wheel bearing/hub assembly has not been replaced ?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Not yet, this will be the third time I've replaced it in a yr and a half

Did the mechanic read the ABS codes to see what the code is? If so do you know the code?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
They never read me any codes just said I needed my hub bearing replaced...again
Expert:  Daryl replied 4 years ago.
Ok more than likely this is a wheel speed sensor code, the wheel speed sensor is part of the wheel bearing hub assembly. There is another common problem that will cause the same code as the wheel speed sensor. The problem is often the wiring to the speed sensor and it is easily replaced so that needs to be checked out by a mechanic.
