For GMTECH(Cam): I need the following info for a 1997 Buick LeSabre:1) the exact TDM location2) TDM pinout and wiring color coding
Optional Information: Year : 1997 Make : Buick Model: LeSabre Engine: 3800 Series II Already Tried: I think I have found the TDM (trying to bypass it) but the wiring colors do not match those on the website that instructs on how to bypass the TDM.
Hello, I'm Cam. Please include all the details about your issue so I can accurately advise you. I cannot see your vehicle so please be detailed. The Tim is behind the glove box with a green connector. The pink is igniton and should go the red. The black white is the ground, dark blue is the fuel enable and the black yellow or yellow black is the starter enable circuit.
OK, apparently what I found was not the TDM. The module I found is directly behind the ash tray, and it has a black 16-pin connector. Let me check and I'll get back with you. Thanks!
Ok
Cam,
Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. You told me EXACTLY what I needed to know. I have temporarily attached the bypass device and the car now cranks and runs great! I will accept your answer and leave positive feedback. Do you have a suggestion on how to permanently attach the wires?
Mark
The best is solder and heat shrink, second best are crimp connectors.

Hard to solder up inside the dash, I'll try the crimp connectors. Thanks very much for your help!Mark
