Hi, Glad to be of help. Your battery or alternator could be the problem. Have them checked. From your description, it is a low voltage problem. First check your battery. It is the heart of your electrical system.

I have a new battery. When I was driving this morning when ever I hit a bump all the lights would come on, on the dash board. Would the alternator make this happen?

You may have some bad connections. Even a new battery can be bad, have it checked, and yes it could be your alternator. Especially check the connector that plugs into the alternator. Make sure all your battery terminal connections are clean, free of corrossion on bolt sides of the bolt that screws into the battery as well as the eyelet of the terminal and make sure connections are secure. Loose or corroded connections can cause your problem. Your battery should have at least 12.6 volts, engine off and it should be charging at 13.8-14.4 volts running.

Check all your fuses, especially the ones underhood.
