yes
Is the abs light coming on as well?
im waiteing for a answer my awd light keep while in snow is my vehicle a front wheel drive then? the light finnally goes off. i do not have a owners manual i bought the suv when it had 30000 miles and this is the worst snow we have had
.
Does the ABS light come on as well when this happens?
yes and stay on for a while and i loose power in the snow
The problem that is common on these vehicles is failing front wheel speed sensors. When this happens, the ABS light and AWD disabled lights will come on. You do only have front wheel drive when this occurs. It would be best to have the ABS computer scanned for trouble codes to determine which wheel speed sensor is faulty. (left front or right front)
i put a scanner on the computer and it said there was not any codes in computer
Most basic scan tools only read powertrain (engine and transmission codes). An advanced scan tool is required to read chassis (ABS) codes.
ok and yes it is allready on and stays on for a while
You can either replace both front hubs, or have the codes scanned and narrow down which one has a bad speed sensor.
