Greetings and welcome to Just Answer. My name is Mark.

There is different terminology for different things. Most people call an ignition switch, the piece that your key goes into. While that seems logical, that is not the case. What your key goes into is the lock cylinder and your ignition switch is connected to that.

Below I have included the repair instructions for dis-assemble of your steering column. You will need some special tools, but I am assuming you have these and you just want the repair procedure to do so.
