Is your check engine light on?

Have you got any quotes already from a few shops?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I took it to the buick dealer. They said it would cost $900 to replace. I went online and looked at the converter and one (that was good for California) was listed as 450 dollars. I thought that 900 dollars was a high.
Expert:  Amedee replied 5 years ago.

Where was this converter from that you found for 450 bucks?

Was this an after market part?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Just want to know if $900 is reasonable. I think it was an aftermarket part

900 bucks does sound a bit high... but not that bad.

Here is what I have for a price and a part number for your converter. According to alldata, your converter costs about 570 bucks... then you have to factor in the labor to replace it.
