2008 buick: rear turn..turn signal..took apart..release to get bulb

2008 buick lucerne.....right rear turn signal bulb...how does it come out to replace..i took apart, got to it but is there some type of release to get bulb out? i tried pulling shimmying etc. but can't seem to get it out

Remove either the LR or RR rear auxiliary turn signal lamp assembly.

Turn Signal Indicator Lamp Bulb Socket (Qty: 2)

Tip
Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise a quarter turn to access the bulb.

Tip
Pull the bulb straight from the bulb socket.

tried pulling straight out...will not come out without breaking...i will take in for warranty work

Sometimes the bulb will damage the assembly in which it fits into from the heat of the bulb & the assembly has to be replaced.
