Hi,

It is a fairly straightforward job. You remove the caliper and caliper bracket, slide rotor off, remove the 4 retaining bolts and remove the hub bearing assembly:

The wheel bearings in the rear wheel hubs are integrated into one unit. The hub is non-serviceable. If the bearing is considered worn our or if the hub is damaged, the complete unit must be replaced.

Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
  3. Remove the rear caliper and bracket.
  4. Remove brake rotor.
  5. Disconnect the ABS harness and detach the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the four rear hub-to-knuckle bolts.
  7. Separate the hub from the knuckle.

Fig. The rear wheel bearing is built into the hub and, if defective, the entire hub assembly is replaced

To install:

  1. Install the rear hub and bearing assembly to the knuckle and install the retaining holts. Torque to 55 ft. lbs. (75 Nm).
  2. Install the ABS harness and attach the electrical connector.
  3. Install brake rotor
  4. Install the caliper bracket and the caliper.
  5. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
