2002 Oldsmobile Aurora: Using a obd2 Code Reader..Relay..abs..TRAC

Resolved Question:

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora (3.5L). Using a OBD2 Code Reader I get the following 2 codes:
C1214 - System Relay Contact Or Circuit Open
C1248 - EBCM Turned the Red Brake Warning Light On.

The ABS, TRAC and Check Engine Lights are also on. I also receive a "Service Stability System" warning on the DIC.

Does this mean I need to replace the EBCM on my car?

Thanks for choosing JustAnswer.
My name is Vladimir.
The system relay is integral to the EBCM and it is not serviceable.
If you get C1214 as a current trouble code, yes, you should replace the electronic brake control module .
The C1214 troubleshooting chart also requires to check for resistance between the each pump motor control circuit ( disconnect the pump motor harness pigtail connector for this test) and the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) housing.
You should get an "open circuit" ( No resistance), otherwise replace the BPMV as well.
Let me know if you need more information.
